Trailer Mounted Solar Power Systems
National Solar Technologies' trailer mounted power systems are ideal for use in areas where permanent power system installations are not desired. NST trailer mounted power systems can be used for multiple locations where power is needed. Simply fold down the solar panels, hook it up to a truck rated for the trailer weight, and move it wherever you need power. The trailer systems start at 8 Ft. in length all the way up to 30 Ft.+ in length.
Trailers are DOT certified and are capable of being towed at speeds up to 60 MPH. Leveling jacks are standard on all trailers for additional support when the trailer is unhitched from the towing vehicle. Turn signals / brake lights are included on all trailers. Spring suspension is also standard on trailers for smooth trailering down rough roads. On trailers that exceed weight limits for using standard brake systems, electronic brakes are installed to adhere with DOT regulations.
Systems can have multiple power outputs. AC and DC voltages of all ranges are available. Systems can also be designed for back-up power for buildings. Trailer systems can have low wattage outputs of a few hundred watts up to multiple kilowatt outputs. This would include a generator style plug that can be plugged into a building's auxiliary power receptacle just like a standard back-up generator.
Trailer mounted solar power systems can also be outfitted with a small wind turbine(s) as an additional source of power.
