Iraq-Operation Iraqi Freedom (US Military Award)- National Solar Technologies has received an award from the US Military in Iraq for there past and present success in supplying the US Military with solar powered streetlights throughout the region in and around Baghdad. These lighting systems have enhanced security and protected troop movements during the nighttime. National Solar Technologies has supplied over 3000 solar powered lighting systems to the US Military in Iraq between 2008-2010.

Iraq-US Army (Solar Powered Lighting)- National Solar Technologies has been awarded multiple contracts to supply solar powered street light systems to the US Military in Iraq for reconstruction efforts. Major goals have been achieved due to the simple installation of NSTs solar powered streetlights. Increased security at night and a decreased level of attacks have been noted due to the streets being illuminated at night. National Solar Technologies has been a key asset to the efforts of the US Military with regard to lighting up portions of Iraq with solar powered streetlights. Having light at night has also given added security for troop patrols at night in areas that were otherwise dark at night. Some of the solar lighting units have been outfitted with NSTs bullet resistant shields to inhibit the lights from being destroyed by insurgent bullets.

United States-US Army (Solar Electric Power Source)- National Solar Technologies has been awarded a contract to supply and install a building integrated solar and wind power system to power a building at a US Army Reserve Base in the US. The system utilizes solar and wind energy to charge a battery bank which is connected to a power center has a power output 110VAC power to operate interior and exterior lighting as well as power requirements inside the building.

Afghanistan-US Army (Solar Powered Lighting)- National Solar Technologies has been awarded multiple contracts to supply solar powered flood light systems to the US Military in Afghanistan for building perimeter lighting around a US Military Base in Afghanistan.
